building conservation
We are regularly instructed to advise and implement sympathetic repairs and adaptations to historic and listed buildings and we have undertaken many survey inspections of important and protected buildings and structures.
CS Partnership LLP regularly act for guardians and stakeholders concerned in the long term preservation of listed buildings and we have advised on the appropriate methods of repair in accordance with established principals and practise of building conservation philosophy, primary legislation and local and national planning policy.
We are also engaged to provide advice on the adaptation and extension of listed buildings where it is recognised, and can be demonstrated, that the long term condition of an historic building is often synonymous with its effective, on-going future use. The challenge of preserving what is intrinsically special about a building that may have been altered or changed is rarely straightforward and we are able to assist owners and users in meeting these demands with attendant skill and care.
